You can order individual LEGO® parts by searching for the part number (found in the building instructions or on sites like BrickLink) or by color and shape. At De BrickPlaats in Oss, you can order individual parts online, one at a time, and we'll look up missing pieces from a set for you.
A missing brick, a broken axle or just one more window: it happens to every LEGO® builder. Fortunately, you rarely have to buy an entire set again. In this guide, we explain how to order individual LEGO® parts, including by number, and what to look out for.
What are individual LEGO® parts?
Individual LEGO® parts are individual bricks, plates, tiles, Technic parts and accessories that you buy separately rather than as a complete set. Each part has its own element number and is usually available in several colors. You can order them to complete a set, build your own creation (MOC) or set them aside for future projects.
How do you order LEGO® parts by number?
Ordering by number is the fastest and most reliable way. Here's how:
- Look up the part number. You can find it in the original building instructions (at the back, in the parts list), or look it up by shape and color.
- Note the difference between the design number and the element number. The design number determines the shape; the element number determines both the shape and color. You need the element number to get the right color.
- Find the part in the collection using the LEGO ID or element number, or use the description if you don't know the exact number.
- Check the color and quantity and check out. Can't figure it out? Send us the set number and the missing part, and we'll look it up for you.

Order by color and shape (without a number)
Don’t know the number? No problem. You can also take a photo with our LEGO® scanner: it’ll look up the number for you and show whether we have the part. Or describe the part as precisely as possible: the type (for example, "2x4 plate" or "sloped brick"), the exact color, and whether it’s a standard or Technic part. Unsure about the color name? LEGO® uses its own color names (such as "dark bluish gray"), so feel free to include a photo when you visit the store or email us.

It’s not just bricks that are available individually. You can also order individual minifigures and accessories such as headwear, weapons, and tools. Handy if you’re missing a figure or want to build your own character.
