Fabuland
LEGO® Fabuland is a unique LEGO® themed world introduced in 1979 for children aged 3 to 7. The sets are designed to be easy to build and to make the transition from DUPLO® to the regular LEGO® System smoother.
What makes Fabuland so recognizable are the cheerful animal-headed figures and the strong sense of storytelling: LEGO describes it as "stories you can build," with larger sets having instructions that could also be used as stories (great for role-playing). You build houses, boats, fairground rides, and even police and fire stations within the same friendly Fabuland style.
Although originally aimed at young builders, LEGO® Fabuland is now especially beloved by collectors for its unique figures, colors, and nostalgia. According to New Elementary, a total of 99 Fabuland sets were released between 1979 and 1989.
An added bonus: Fabuland elements connect to LEGO® bricks, so you can also combine them with other building worlds.
