LEGO® Minifigures
LEGO® Minifigures instantly give every building world more character: you create stories, set up scenes, and bring vehicles, buildings, and dioramas to life. The LEGO® minifigure as we know it today was launched in 1978, with movable arms and legs, specifically to bring role-playing and “life” to LEGO® builds.
Within LEGO® Minifigures, there are roughly two types: figures that belong to sets (theme or character figures) and collectible Minifigures. LEGO’s collectible series are often sold in a sealed “mystery” bag and contain one or more accessories plus a collector’s leaflet, making collecting even more fun (and sometimes surprising).
The well-known Collectible Minifigures line has been around for years; Series 1 appeared in 2010. That is why “minifigures LEGO®” is also popular with collectors who want to complete series or look for specific figures for their city or MOC.
