  • Valhalla for LEGO fans big and small

    I had a truly fantastic Lego experience in Oss today. What a great store and fantastic staff! My son felt like he was in a candy store. Buying used Lego works great. I think they'll need a lot more bricks in the future, because this store might be bursting at the seams soon ;).

LEGO® Minifigures

LEGO® minifigures instantly add more character to any building world: you can create stories, set up scenes, and bring vehicles, buildings, and dioramas to life. The LEGO® minifigure as we know it today was launched in 1978, with movable arms and legs, precisely to bring role-play and “life” into LEGO® builds.

Broadly speaking, there are two types of LEGO® minifigures: figures that belong to sets (theme or character figures) and collectible minifigures. LEGO's collectible series are often sold in a sealed “mystery” bag and include one or more accessories plus a collector's leaflet, which makes collecting extra fun (and sometimes surprising).

What exactly are LEGO® minifigures?

What's the difference between LEGO® minifigures from sets and collectible minifigures?

LEGO® minifigures in sets are associated with a specific theme or model. Collectible minifigures are often packaged in a sealed mystery bag and come with one or more accessories and a collector's leaflet; the figure you receive may vary from bag to bag.

What do I use LEGO® minifigures for most?
