LEGO® from 1998
LEGO® 1998 for adventurers and collectors
The 1998 LEGO® collection offers several options: a desert adventure with individual figures, a small addition to your castle, or a vehicle to display. The selection includes both building sets and individual minifigures, each with its own product description.
For LEGO® Adventurers, for example, you will find Johnny Thunder in his Desert version. His brown hat, red neckerchief, and printed beige torso make him instantly recognizable. Dr. Charles Lightning is also available as an individual figure in this selection; no complete expedition set is offered.
Fright Knights alongside Ferrari 2556 and Technic
With LEGO® Fright Knights, you can choose the compact 2538 Fire Cart or 2540 Catapult Cart. These small models are ideal for collectors who want to expand an existing castle scene without adding a large structure.
For a vehicle display, there is LEGO® 2556 Ferrari Formula 1 Racing Car. Looking for a Technic model instead? Then take a look at LEGO® 8226 Mud Masher, which is offered with the original booklet and without the box.
Choosing a vintage LEGO® item carefully
The product page for Ferrari 2556 states that the model has been built and comes with the booklet but without the box. It is sold as is; completeness and condition are not guaranteed. This information is more important for your purchase than the name or set number alone.
Therefore, compare photos and product descriptions, and pay attention to the difference between an individual figure and a set. For more vintage LEGO® from the same period, you can also view LEGO® from 1996 or LEGO® from 1999 look at.
