The LEGO® Movie brengt heel verschillende bouwstijlen samen: alledaagse figuren, superhelden en opvallende robots passen hier gewoon in hetzelfde avontuur. Dat maakt de reeks leuk voor wie scènes uit de film wil nabouwen én voor bouwers die graag zelf een onverwachte combinatie bedenken.

Een herkenbaar voorbeeld is Batman & Super Angry Kitty Attack 70817. Daarin komen Batman, een felrode versie van Unikitty, een Skeletron en een Micro Manager samen. Het laat goed zien hoe de filmreeks humor en actie in compacte bouwwerken combineert.

Personages en uitvoeringen herkennen

Naast bouwsets horen LEGO® Movie minifigures bij het thema. Emmet herken je aan zijn bouwvakkersuitrusting, terwijl Lucy, ook bekend als Wyldstyle, opvalt door haar zwarte kleding en gekleurde haaraccenten. Van een personage kunnen meerdere uitvoeringen bestaan, met andere gezichten, kledingdetails of accessoires.
